New Quay and Cardigan Bay
Our campsite is situated about two miles from the famous harbour beach village of New Quay.
New Quay is noted for its safe sandy beaches and its stunning wildlife particularly the bottlenose dolphins and porpoises which swim close into the beach
In 2007 a feature film is being made here starring Kiera Nightly and Lindsey Lohans about the life of Dylan Thomas who once lived here and based his most famous work 'Under Milk Wood' on the local characters.
New Quay enjoys the wonderful backdrop of Cardigan Bay with views to Snowdonia and Bardsey Island over forty miles away thanks to the crystal clear air.
There are regular boat trips from New Quay and for anglers there is a abundance of sea fishing and plenty of nearby coarse and game fisheries
We have added some photos and links for you.
